The TOC is a part of the Southern Africa Union Conference (SAU) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which in turn is a part of the Southern Africa-Indian Ocean Division (SID)  of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, a world church organisation; and all purposes, policies and procedures of the TOC is in harmony with the working policies and procedures of the SAU and the SID.
